This website serves a number of purposes. First of all it is a site that gives me the opportunity to learn new skills. Second, it will serve as a quick reference - this means that speed is more important than fancy multimedia. There will be large pictures as well, hidden deeper in the file hierarchy, so that the access speed of most of the stuff won't be impeeded. A third goal is to provide help for newbies by showing very simple examples.
Currently this website is hosted on my desktop at home using the Apache Web Server running on Fedora Core from RedHat. There will be times when the site won't be available for a number of reasons, but there is a mirror available at www.fortunecity.com. Please note, that some of the features - those that depend on CGI or PHP - won't work on the mirror site.
